One of the kids was sharing his pictures on the All About Board of him at Christmas with his grandpa. When he finished sharing his pictures he asked if there were any questions. One of the kids asked, "When did you celebrate your first Christmas, I mean what month January, April?"  He replied, "Christmas is only on December 25.  Can I have another question, that wasn't really a question."

The second day of school right after lunch recess, the kids were sitting when Wyatt said, "The kindergarteners are napping right now aren't they?"  I said, "Yeah. Do you guys miss naptime?" Some shook their heads up and down. Then he said, "But that's ok, we get to have free time in the afternoon right?"  I said, "No." "Movies?" "No, once in a while we might watch a movie if it's something we are learning about." "Well we still get milk, right?" he asked. "No." "Snack?"  "No."  He says, "First grade is going to be sooo boring this year."  I just had to laugh.

Show and Tell

Every Friday, we will have show and tell first thing in the morning after the bell rings.  Show and tell will only be on Fridays unless something special comes up and you would like to have your child share at another time. Let me know.   If someone shares something really cute or unique, I'll put it on the website.
