This week we will be making a book of Five Little Speckled Frogs

In English we will be learning how to brainstorm ideas for writing.  We will also learn about naming parts and what a sentence is.  

   We will have Writer's Workshop where the kids create their own books. They write and illustrate them.  We brainstorm topics together, then they write and edit their rough draft.  Then they make a book and write in their best handwriting, and finally they illustrate it.  Each Friday or Monday we take story time to share the books they have written with the class.
